I first got started making knives in 1971, but it was hard to get information back then. I had to search long an hard for information on things that are taken for granted today by knifemakers starting today, like how to temper steel.

Much of my life has been spent in the outdoors hunting large game, so it natural that I mostly build hunting knives, but am open to other designs. I use ATS-34 for all my knives, which I have field tested for years. I feel that its one of the finest blade metals you can get. The knives I build are designed for comfort, balance, and great edge-holding ability.
