Description: D'Alton is one of the great masters of collectable hunting knives. As you would expect, the fit and finish is exceptional. "Clip Face" is a stout, yet compact hunter ready for some heavy duty field dressing. This knife was kept in a private collection since it was made. It has been meticulously cared for and by all appearances, D'Holder could have made it yesterday.
The mirror polished blade is hand ground ATS-34 stainless steel. ATS-34 maintains a great edge, but is easy to sharpen and has high corrosion resistance. It is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge. D'Holder's Peoria, AZ mark is featured on the right side.
Handle scales are stabilized bone, set on the full tang using stainless steel pins. The 416 stainless steel bolsters are hand engraved by Bruce Shaw. The engraving is highly detailed and immediately captivating. It clearly the work of a true master. Both the blade and and tang are distal tapered for excellent balance.
To keep the knife close at hand, a tooled brown leather sheath with an antler concho is included.
An exceptional piece that is sure to become a family heirloom!
