Description: Japanese knifemaker Captain Bunshichi Koyama's designs are truly innovative. He designs and develops his knives with unique locking mechanisms that immediately capture the imagination. This one features a closing mechanism controlled by a push button. Koyama-san calls this mechanism a Pool-Lock.
The damascus blade combines a premium VG10 stainless steel core with linear damascus sides. VG10 Suminagashi provides a keen, long lasting edge. The linear pattern shows off his clean grind lines.
Carbon fiber scales are set on anodized titanium liners. Anodized titanium overlays add a nice accent. You can easily keep this knife at your side with the bolistic nylon belt pouch.
Nice work throughout on a very creative knife!
