Description: South African knifemaker Hennie du Plessis creates an exceptional knife. This hunter shows his tremendous attention to all the details. The fit and finish is impeccable, providing an excellent showcase of exotic materials.
The blade is damascus, forged from carbon steels, ensuring a keen, long lasting edge. It is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge. Hennie's touch mark is on the left side of the blade.
Handle scales are stabilized giraffe bone, set on a full tang for strength and durability. The gently rounded handle feels sturdy and fills your hand perfectly. The scales are heirloom fit to the bolsters ensuring there will be no sharp corners, even if the wood shrinks over decades. By using torx screws, Hennie ensures the knife can be taken apart if future repairs are ever needed. The scales are dovetailed perfectly to high contrast Nebula pattern mosaic damascus bolsters forged by Bertie Rietveld.
This hunting knife is accompanied by a hand stitched leather sheath made by Hennie.
If you are looking for a compact daily carry fixed blade that will turn heads whenever you use it, look no further!
