Description: South African knifemaker Hennie du Plessis creates an exceptional folder. The blade is perfectly centered and has silky-smooth action. When combined with the IKBS ball bearing system, the action is exceptional! The Ikoma Korth Bearing System (IKBS) was originally designed to fit balisong knives and uses ball bearings to create exceptional action with no blade play.
The blade is hand ground stainless damascus forged by Damasteel in Sweden. The high contrast, high performance steel immediately grabs attention. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
Handle scales are created from circuit boards and set on textured titanium liners. Jimping on the thumb rest provides a comfortable, secure grip. 303 stainless steel bolsters are meticuloulsly engraved by Hennie's wife, Ilze du Plessis. The detailed engraving shows a cybertronic mask with a circuit board background. Textured titanium liners surround the polished stainless steel backspacer.
Spectacular work on a very creative knife!
