Description: Enrique Pena from Laredo, Texas has been making fine custom knives since 2006. He builds high quality folders both modern and traditional, including flippers, slipjoints, and lockback folders. He learned to make traditional style knives from renowned knifemakers Bill Ruple and Rusty Preston. Enrique's knives are designed to be used and carried, but could easily be the gem of any collection! With a 3-1/2 inch blade, the Victoria Folder is one of Pena's full-size models.
The blade is high performing stainless damascus forged by Chad Nichols. The striking damascus pattern is high contrast, low care, and shows lots of movement in the steel. The blade is perfectly centered with silky-smooth, drop-shut action thanks to the caged bearing system. The blade can be easily opened using the dual thumbstud.
The handle features a bead blasted titanium frame lock-side with a heat colored Zircu-Ti front scale. The frames are separated by an anodized titanium back spacer. TiConnector hardware is used throughout. The 3D machined Zircu-Ti pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
Excellent work throughout!
