Description: Since 1997, Randall's Adventure and Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives under the ESEE brand specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. Many ESEE knives now serve in the combat zones of Iraq, Afghanistan, and other remote locales. ESEE Knives is setting the standard for many local, state, and federal law enforcement officers when it comes to high performance, compact sheath knives with multiple carry options. ESEE has worked to design their knives with the U.S. Marshals Service, USMS SOG teams, U.S. Special Forces teams, Navy Special Boat Teams, Peruvian Special Forces, Colombian Police Forces, the Peruvian Anti-Narcotics Task Force, survival experts, and outdoorsmen and adventurers all over the world. Randall's Adventure and Training courses and gear have been featured on the Travel Channel, Discovery Channel and in numerous movies, books, leading outdoor magazines and trade publications. All ESEE logo knives are proudly manufactured in the U.S.A. by Rowen Manufacturing in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Every knife is backed by the best no-questions-asked warranty in the industry!
The ESEE-PR4 is one of the most popular ESEE knives ever made. The 4-1/2 inch blade length is the ideal size for use as a bushcrafting or general purpose survival knife. The stout blade is equally useful as a batoning knife or while cooking lunch at the camp site.
The spear point blade is tumbled black oxide 1095 carbon steel, hardened to 55-57 Hrc. 1095 is tough and very impact resistant.
Handle scales are sculpted natural Micarta, secured to the full tang using torx screws. This allows the scales to be removed if cleanings or maintenance is needed. The handle features a lanyard hole if extra retention is desired.
To keep the knife close at hand, a leather pouch style sheath is included.
Made in the USA.
