Description: Raymond Richard's designs have a timeless grace about them that comes from a family heritage of knifemaking and the inclusion of hard to find materials.
Ray began by forging the long, recurve blade from 5160 carbon steel. The blade is satin finished and antiqued. The blade's recurve shape is reminiscent of a Kukri and really makes you want to swing it!
The guard and butt are forged from wrought iron recovered from an 1800s era wagon wheel. A hammered finish accentuates the knife’s rustic, heirloom feel. The bubinga handle is comfortable in the hand and has warm tones with a repetitive chatoyancy similar to that of a tiger's eye. Accompanied by hand sewn leather sheath. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
