Description: Jim's knives are as sturdy as they are elegant. A hunter himself, as well as a backwoodsman, his knives have been heavily tested in the field over the years yet are dramatic enough for any collection.
The long, recurve blade is forged from a Damascus pattern that James calls Indian Bead Work. The Damascus mixes bold patterns that are apparent from a distance as well as detailed figures that only become clear with a close inspection.
The elk antler handle is surrounded by Damascus fittings. The guard and pommel are formed from Stripe pattern Damascus forged from 1084 and L6 carbon steels along with chain saw blade. A Damascus ferrule is formed from Tiger Stripe pattern Damascus (1084 and L6 carbon steels) and creates a dramatic accent. The fit and finish is excellent. Numbered 126.
