Description: Captain Koyama's work is always fascinating and has a definite Japanese aesthetic. The simplicity of this distinctive folding liner lock is an excellent example of this aesthetic.
The blade is formed from VG10 stainless steel, sandwiched between layers of stainless Damascus. The resulting blade has a keen, long lasting edge with the beauty of layered steel.
The scales, backbar and liners are formed from hand textured and differentially anodized titanium (both inside and out). Purple, blue, green and gold tones are intermixed. The left side features a blue anodized safety-button release, which allows the blade to be opened. Both sides feature inlays of mammoth ivory. Gold plated screws are used throughout. Excellent fit and finish with silky smooth action.
