Description: The sturdy stainless steel blade is fileworked in the vine pattern. Both blade and tang are distal tapered for especially good balance. A cryogenic heat treat makes the blade have a particularly aggressive edge that will hold its sharpness. It was heat treated to Rc 60-61 (very hard), making a knife that will perform amazingly in the field. The stabilized oak burl scales have terrific, swirling grain patterns and are nicely offset by a warthog tusk spacer. Red fiber spacers allow the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The fit and finish, along with the fileworked spine, make this a knife that will feel at home in a collection or out in the field.
