Description: Designed and manufactured to stand up to heavy-duty use, Zero Tolerance Knives are built from premium materials and designed to provide the user with maximum strength, versatility, and unwavering reliability. All Zero Tolerance Knives are built with integrity to professional, hard-use specifications. They're in demand by armed forces personnel, law enforcement officers and other first responders, as well as by discerning knife owners who simply want to be ready for anything the world might throw at them. The knives are called “Zero Tolerance” because they’re designed and built with zero tolerance for anything less than the very best -- in materials, craftsmanship, and made-in-the-USA dependability.
Based on Rick Hinderer's XM-18, the new ZT 0560 is a robust folder. The blade is made from Elmax stainless steel for excellent edge retention and toughness needed for a hard-use knife. The flipper rapidly deploys the blade using the KVT (Kershaw Velocity Technology) ball-bearing system. KVT differs from IKBS in that the ball bearings are pressed into nylon washers so that they install as one unit rather than individual bearings. The handle is 3D machined G10 on the non-locking side, and equally 3D machined titanium on the back. A framelock with lockbar stabilizer ensures a rock solid lockup every time. To ensure this full-sized knife carries at a comfortable weight, ZT has skeletonized the liner and machined pockets in the titanium handle and framelock. To top it all off, the 0560 is equipped with ZT's new deep-carry pocket clip.
