Description: Blacksmith, Frederick Weisenborn brings his years of experience to creating this dramatic and unique damascus fountain pen. The pen, which weighs just over 2 3/4 oz., has a solid, comfortable feel, making it a pen you'll be sure to reach for often. The fine damascus pattern holds attention.
The Damascus throughout was forged by Delbert Ealy. The barrel is formed from Delbert's Vine pattern damascus. Ealy's Lion pattern damascus was used for the clip and his Honeycomb pattern forms the accessory ends, which are heat blued. The pen is hand engraved and heat blued for coloring. A high gloss clear coat is applied for durability and protects the steel from finger prints. Custom designed titanium accessories complete the pen.
Weisenborn created interchangeable rollerball and fountain tips. He used a Bach steel nib (type 180) for the fountain tip. The pen is accompanied by an ink cartridge and a refillable cartridge. When not used as a fountain pen, it uses a Schmidt ceramic roller ball.
This pen is accompanied by a handcrafted presentation box made by Steve Palmer from pure maple. It is perfect for use as a storage box or as a display box.
