Description: Russell Easler made some fantastic knives. He passed away in 2010 and will be greatly missed. This spear point dagger has a simplistic elegance in design, and will be an excellent addition to any collection at home or in the field. It has never been used to cut with or been sharpened, and has been kept in meticulous condition. Both edges are fully sharpened. By all appearances, it could have been made yesterday. The blade is made from ATS-34 stainless steel and features a hand-rubbed satin finish for an heirloom quality.
Stainless steel bolsters dovetail seamlessly into ironwood scales that have been shaped for a comfortable hold using either a hammer or icepick grip. The scales are set on the distal tapered full tang, ensuring strength and durability. Four pins assist is securing the wood. A rare opportunity to acquire a classy piece from Mr. Easler.
