Description: Sam Eddleman is an up-and-coming maker to watch. Sam apprenticed under Todd Begg, who is well known in the knife making world for having nothing less than exacting standards. As such, Sam's level of quality is remarkable. He creates an exceptional folder!
The asymmetrical ground blade is made from CPM154 stainless steel, hardened to 59-60 Hrc, with a small secondary bevel for a strong, high performing edge. A long swedge provides perfect balance and creates a keen, aggressive tip. The stealthy feel of this knife is enhanced with the acid washed finish - providing a non-reflective finish creates a tactical advantage. Sam creates this finish by first stonewashing then acid washing the blade.
The blade is perfectly centered with silky smooth action -- easily opened with one hand using the discreet and ambidextrous flipper toggle. The blade uses the IKBS (Ikoma Korth Bearing System) pivot system. This mechanism, which was originally designed to fit balisong knives, uses ball bearings to create exceptional action with no blade play.
The G10 handle features fine texturing for s secure, comfortable grip. The scales sit on titanium liners, making this knife incredibly light and fast. An acid washed, stainless steel pocket clip is mounted for tip-up carry.
Truly an exceptional maker to watch out for - excellent fit and finish throughout!
