Description: This exceptional folding knife by Andre Thorburn features a Vinland pattern blade formed from Swedish stainless Damasteel damascus. The dramatic, high contrast blade is hollow ground for a long lasting, easy to maintain edge. By mirror polishing the flats, Andre emphasizes the perfect, clean grind lines. The blade is perfectly centered and has an incredibly smooth action due to the IKBS (Ikoma Korth Bearing System) pivot system. This mechanism, which was originally designed to fit balisong knives, uses ball bearings to create exceptional action with virtually no blade play. The flipper allows for super easy and fast deployment of the blade.
Lightning strike carbon fiber scales keep the knife strong and light weight. This type of carbon fiber is the most difficult to find, as it is used by the military in fighter jets. The bolsters are hand textured and have a frosted appearance, offering a more secure grip. Hand fileworked and blue anodized titanium liners keep this large, sturdy knife light and fast. Sandwiched between the liners, the steel backspacer has small holes drilled, interspersed between the filework. A titanium pocket clip is pierced and anodized blue, and is set for right-handed, tip-up carry.
Exceptional fit throughout.
