Description: D'Alton is one of the great masters of collectable hunting knives. As you would expect, the fit and finish is exceptional.
Bruce Shaw provided the engraving on the bolsters. The design is very deep and tremendously detailed. Both sides feature a unique elk, framed with oval chevrons and surrounded with Western scroll.
The handle material is Arizona desert ironwood. Scales are fitted over a distal tapered tang, and are secured by four pins. Contoured finger grooves ensure a firm yet comfortable grip.
The hollow ground blade is ATS-34 stainless steel, which offers superior rust resistance as well as edge retention. A mirror polished finish is a fine choice for this classy piece.
Exceptional work throughout!
