Description: This long, slender boot knife has been in a knifemakers private collection. It is in new condition.
It has very dramatic lines which are accentuated by the hollow ground blade. Both the top and bottom edges of the blade are fully sharpened. The blade and tang have been distal tapered to bring the weight toward the stainless steel bolsters. Stabilized buckeye burl scales are precisely dovetailed to the stainless bolsters for a perfect fit and set with stainless steel pins. Red fiber spacers set under the scales assist the knife to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. Exceptional work throughout.
