Description: Handmade by Jim Arbuckle, this EMT utility knife is an excellent choice for everyday carry if you're a medical responder or just looking for a great looking and versatile utility knife. This piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind - there's not another one like it in the world!
The blade is made from high performing, low care 154CM stainless steel and has an heirloom quality hand-rubbed satin finish. It was hardened and triple tempered to Rc 58-59 for excellent edge retention. The blade is distal tapered to lighten it and create a perfect balance. The spine is slightly rounded for a comfortable grip. The downturned tip and recurve make cutting someone out of a seatbelt or removing clothing in an emergency situation a breeze without risking injury.
Orange DymondWood scales are set on a full tang for strength and durability. The scales are secured using nickel silver pins. This knife utilizes a very deep choil (cut-out) for the forefinger to rest in. This offers several different grip options, and makes the knife easy to grasp - even with slippery or wet hands.
This knife includes a brown leather sheath designed for vertical carry.
Excellent fit throughout!
