Description: Corrie designs a spectacular folder and pays attention to every detail. His design sense clearly shines through this tactical folder.
The upswept damascus blade shows off Corrie's skill at the grinder -- with an elegant hollow grind that shows off clean, crisp grind lines. The blade is easily opened using the flipper mechanism. The flipper is inlaid with a faceted citrine.
Very rare lightning strike carbon fiber scales rest on anodized titanium, keeping this knife light and fast. Copper strands move through the carbon fiber weave. This type of carbon fiber was originally designed for use on fighter jets to redirect electricity. Lightning strike carbon fiber is among the hardest to find knifemaking materials. The color and pattern of the carbon fiber complements the damascus well. Both the liners and back strap are formed from titanium and are meticulously hand fileworked. The backbar is inlaid with a faceted ruby and citrine.
A ball bearing pivot ensures a perfectly centered blade with silky smooth action. Exceptional fit and finish throughout!
