Description: This exceptional folder has been in a private collection since it was created by Mel. It has been meticulously cared for and is in mint condition. It has never been used, sharpened, or carried. By all appearances, it could have been made yesterday
The damascus tanto blade is made from "Broad Ladder" pattern damascus forged from stainless steels. A swedge offers a reinforced piercing tip. The blade can be easily deployed using the right-handed thumbstud with inlaid horn. The action is silky smooth and the blade is perfectly centered.
The handle is made from hand carved and fluted buffalo horn with twisted sterling silver wire inlays. The stainless damascus bolsters have been heat colored and hand carved into a beautiful pattern. The result is truly incredible! The titanium liners have been hand fileworked and differentially anodized into rainbow colors. The hand carved and filed titanium backbar has also been anodized.
Exceptional work throughout!
