Description: The Tempest Frame Lock Flipper is designed by Liong Mah and built with some of the tightest tolerances in the industry by David Deng of Reate Knives. The Tempest Carbon Fibder is a full sized knife -- measuring 8.6 inches overall, yet it weighs in at just over 4-1/2 ounces. The action on it is outstanding with perfect lockup and a well centered blade.
A devastating 3-3/4 inch upswept blade rides on caged bearings and is crazy sharp. Premium S35VN has a two-tone finish -- stonewashed in the grinds and satin finished on the flats. A long thumb ramp provides a secure grip. The tempest features an integral flipper with light notching for flawless deployment every time.
The carbon fiber and titanium frame is 3D sculpted and contoured with a large finger cutout. The frame lock bar on the reverse side has a hardened steel insert for smooth, effortless locking and unlocking.
The Tempest is built for battle. Titanium hardware has been blue anodized adding a very nice accent to the handle. A machined titanium back spacer holds it all together. The milled titanium pocket clip is mounted for tip-up carry . The unique pocket clip shape stays clear of the lock bar.
The knife is accompanied by a Liong Mah Design velcro patch, microfiber cleaning cloth, soft knife bag, and zipper pouch.
