Description: As an avid hunter, Randy knows how a good hunting knife should perform. He loves to "field-test" his designs and feels that a quality knife should not only look great, but perform well as a tool. This one-of-a-kind clip point hunter is no exception.
The hollow ground blade is made from high performing CPM 154 stainless steel for the excellent retention a hard use knife demands. It was then hardened to Hrc 59-60 by Paul Bos to ensure that the edge will remain razor sharp through the most difficult tasks, yet will be easy to sharpen.
The handle is formed from 9 stacked layers. Alternating red Micarta and turquoise surround Arizona desert ironwood. Black fiber spacers alternate with nickel silver, assisting the handle to adjust to changes in humidity and temperature. A mirror polished nickel silver guard and pommel complete the handle.
The knife is accompanied by a hand tooled leather sheath by Sonya Lee and a storage pouch. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
