Description: Journeyman Smith Keith Fludder resides in New South Wales, Australia. He started making knives in 1989 is now a full time maker. Keith's knives are works of art that excel in performance. This bowie shows his exceptional skill at the forge.
The long, clip point, recurve blade was forged closely to shape beginning with his own nebula pattern mosaic damascus. The pattern is high contrast and immediately grabs attention. It is a perfect mix of bold shapes and fine details.
The handle is formed from a solid piece of ancient walrus ivory. It is carved to swell at the palm, move into a slimmer waist, and swell again at the back of the handle. The S-guard brings bright blue tones with a transitional ferrule formed from bronze.
Exceptional work throughout!
