Description: Art Washburn creates a very slick folder -- equally at home in the collection or carried as a prized knife.
The blade is formed from stainless Raindrop pattern damascus. The highly complex pattern was forged by Devin Thomas from 302 and AEBL stainless steels. The patterns is extremely clear and shows virtually no distortion -- clear evidence of Thomas' mastery in the forge.
Mammoth ivory scales taper gracefully from the butt of the knife to dovetail beautifully into mokume gane bolsters. This results in a sure grip with an elegant knife. A circle of whitelip mother of pearl is inlaid into the deep green toned ivory. The scales are set on blue anodize, hand fileworked titanium liners. The backbar is formed from matching damascus. The action is butter smooth and the blade perfectly centered.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
